Vision 6 for Word

Description:  

Delegates will gain an understanding of the different ways in which Vision for Word can extract SunSystems data direct to a Microsoft Word document. Sessions will include the updating of Vision based documents, use of the Equation Editor facility, the creation of bookmarks, and interrogating SunSystems values within a document.

Suitable for:

• Users looking to understand the capabilities of Vision for Word and develop basic documents

• SunSystems Administrators

• Internal Support staff

Pre-requisites:         

• A good understanding of SunSystems Ledger Accounting module

• Prior knowledge of Vision XL is beneficial but not important

Objectives:

By the end of this course delegates will be able to:

• Understand the concepts behind Vision for Word

• Complete and understand the Vision definition forms

• Extract financial balances to a Word document

• Extract transactional details to a Word document

• Use Target maintenance to define bookmarks

• Use Equation Editor to perform calculations

• Create mail merge documents using SunSystems data
