Description:  

Delegates will gain an understanding of the technical architecture of an implementation of SunSystems, within a Microsoft SQL Database environment.

Suitable for:  

IT Staff/Systems administrators tasked with administering the SunSystems program in a Microsoft SQL environment, having little, or no, SunSystems/SQL knowledge.  

Pre-requisites:     

A good understanding of networks and operating systems

Objectives:

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Understand the SQL Enterprise Manager

• Perform administrative functions on the database

• Create a SunSystems database from scripts

• Install SunSystems in a test environment

• Set up the Graphical Client services

• Backup and restore the SQL database

• Enable printing from SunSystems

• Install the Vision software
