1st Credit selects SunSystems from Sapphire
Sapphire to supply and implement an integrated SunSystems Financial Management and Reporting Solution to 1st Credit
LONDON, UK. Sapphire Systems has announced that it is to supply and implement the SunSystems Financial Management and Reporting solution at 1st Credit Limited.
1st Credit is a market leading debt purchase and outsourced debt collection services business. They work with a number of clients including high street banks, credit card providers, utilities and telecommunication firms and pride themselves on their ability to identify and develop innovative debt management solutions for their clients.
Glen Allgood, Financial Controller, at 1st Credit set about sourcing a new financial accounting solution earlier this year as the company had outgrown their existing system due to the successful growth of the business.
Following a review of the market Glen short listed 3 market leading solutions before making the final choice to implement SunSystems from Sapphire. Explaining his decision Glen said “In comparison with the other solutions that we looked at, SunSystems seemed to be the best fit for our requirements as a financial services business – it is well suited to our market sector. Another selling point was the overall reporting capabilities of SunSystems, especially with the Vision reporting tool which we have also invested in.”
He went on to say “We chose Sapphire to implement and support our SunSystems application because we felt that they were a very professional organisation with innovative solutions. They also gave us the most assurance on costs and timescales involved with the project.”
Once SunSystems is in place Glen says “We are looking forward to benefiting from a more stable accounting platform and the additional functionality that SunSystems will provide for our business. It will be an advantage to have more flexible reporting capabilities and we will certainly make good use of Vision to facilitate information sharing.”
