Description:
Sapphire is seeking a highly motivated, experienced pre-sales
consultant to support the successful achievement of Sapphire sales
targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for matching
and providing proof of Sapphire capabilities to business
requirements through a professional and ethical business approach
endorsing the Sapphire values. This will include RFI completion,
bid co-ordination, prospect qualification and requirement analysis
meetings, product demonstrations and architecture design.
In addition the successful candidate will be expected to assist
further sales into existing Sapphire accounts and help to ensure
that customers are successful and referenceable.
Key responsibilities include:

Proving our products and services to potential and existing
customers by presenting the Sapphire solution and
demonstrating the products |
 |
Understand
and articulate customer business requirements and develop
corresponding solution designs |
 |
Confirm solution fit and identify customer specific benefits
that contribute to unique business value offering |
 |
Generate high quality responses to RFI’s and RFP’s |
 |
Create sales support materials to represent Sapphire
capabilities |
 |
Maintain solid, technical understanding of Sapphire products
in conjunction with business benefits and unique business
proposition |
 |
Perform periodic reviews of customer needs, identifying
potential issues and opportunities |
 |
Manage product application and technical reviews |
 |
Configure applications for prototyping |
Personal Qualities and Experience
 |
Educated to degree level preferably with a professional
accountancy qualification |
 |
Technical experience that covers databases, internet
technologies and infrastructure |
 |
Proven experience in a pre-sales environment |
 |
Excellent verbal and written communication skills |
 |
Excellent presentation skills |
 |
Self-directed individual |
 |
Strong self-motivator |
 |
Adaptable team player with good market knowledge |
 |
Responsive, reliable and results oriented |
 |
Able to work with all levels of customers and partners |
 |
Able to demonstrate business benefit of a technical solution |
 |
Experience of demonstrating ROI in enterprise business space |
 |
Strong understanding of ERP solutions, Internet technologies
and architecture including web servers |
 |
Experience working with any of the following major ERP
systems (no DBA experience required: SunSystems, Agresso, MS
Great Plains, Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft (MS SQL helpful) |
 |
Experience working with advanced analytics and forecasting
applications |
 |
Demonstrable in-depth understanding of sales processes and
major account selling/support strategies |
