Job
Purpose:
To exploit the internet
and new media technologies to maximise Sapphire’s lead generation
activities.
Key Responsibilities:
 |
Assist in the
development of lead generation programs in conjunction with
the direct sales teams - including e-mail blasts, webcasts
and events |
 |
Develop, design
and manage content for websites, microsites and intranet. |
 |
Drive forward all
e-marketing communications. |
 |
Create and manage
digital marketing campaigns, including online advertising,
web conferencing, blogs and social media.
|
 |
Design marketing communication materials from concept to production,
including literature, online and e-marketing promotions
|
 |
Manage, maintain
and optimise PPC campaigns. |
 |
Ensure
web-analytics for all activities and internet presence are
continuously reviewed and improved.
|
 |
Benchmark external
websites and other e-media activities and recommend
improvements. |
 |
Improve the
understanding of online technology internally by showing
tangible results and ROI. |
 |
Making sure that
all online and offline activity is consistent and
complementary. |
 |
Preparing and
managing Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine
Marketing plans to increase visitor traffic via natural
search. |
 |
Ensure compliance
with relevant legislation. |
 |
Present business
cases to secure budgets and project approval. |
 |
Ensure the
telemarketing team promptly and efficiently follow up all
website leads and queries. |

skills, with practical experience of writing for the web.

Proven e-mail
marketing skills. |
 |
Experience of
planning and managing pay-per-click campaigns and a working
knowledge of SEO. |
 |
Excellent
commercial acumen and relationship-building skills. |
 |
The ability to
deliver projects and results within set timescales.

 |
Web content
management and design skills |
 |
An understanding
of online metrics and web analytics including Google. |
 |
Good knowledge of
FrontPage, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS and Photoshop
is preferred but not essential. |
