Job Purpose:

 

To exploit the internet and new media technologies to maximise Sapphire’s lead generation activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

bullet

Assist in the development of lead generation programs in conjunction with the direct sales teams - including e-mail blasts, webcasts and events

bullet

Develop, design and manage content for websites, microsites and intranet.

bullet

Drive forward all e-marketing communications.

bullet

Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including online advertising, web conferencing, blogs and social media.

bullet

Design marketing communication materials from concept to production, including literature, online and e-marketing promotions

bullet

Manage, maintain and optimise PPC campaigns.

bullet

Ensure web-analytics for all activities and internet presence are continuously reviewed and improved.

bullet

Benchmark external websites and other e-media activities and recommend improvements.

bullet

Improve the understanding of online technology internally by showing tangible results and ROI.

bullet

Making sure that all online and offline activity is consistent and complementary.

bullet

Preparing and managing Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing plans to increase visitor traffic via natural search.

bullet

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

bullet

Present business cases to secure budgets and project approval.

bullet

Ensure the telemarketing team promptly and efficiently follow up all website leads and queries.

Good understanding of online technologies from both a hands-on and strategic point of view.

Strong copywriting skills, with practical experience of writing for the web.

Proven e-mail marketing skills.

bullet

Experience of planning and managing pay-per-click campaigns and a working knowledge of SEO.

bullet

Excellent commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.

bullet

The ability to deliver projects and results within set timescales.

bullet

Web content management and design skills

bullet

An understanding of online metrics and web analytics including Google.

bullet

Good knowledge of FrontPage, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS and Photoshop is preferred but not essential.
