implementation of projects with SAP Business ByDesign in the
following roles:
Financials, including fixed assets and stock costings, logistics,
cross functional application consulting (including reporting);

This is truly an exciting new software product from SAP – a truly
global programme with immense financial and development backing.
Software as a service is here and consultants will require to work
in an exciting new way – product specialism must be blended with
business process experience and project delivery skills – it is the
time of the all-rounder.
Work experience:
SAP introduced
its new Solution called SAP Business ByDesign. SAP Business ByDesign
is a completely new solution and is targeted for midmarket customers
with 100-500 employees. It covers Financials, Fixed Assets, HR,
Project Management and Time Accounting, Logistics, Manufacturing,
MRP, Supplier Relationship Management, Customer Relationship
Management, Marketing, Service Centre and Analytics – all with
built-in workflow and integration to MS Office. Business ByDesign is
based on enterprise services–oriented architecture (enterprise SOA)
and will initially be made available to mid tier customers as an
on-demand and hosted solution for significantly lower total cost of
ownership.
A Service Adviser for the SAP Business ByDesign provides
capabilities in both a customer-facing and a remote-delivery role,
mapping business processes to requirements of customers. She/he
guides the customer through reference and trial systems, drives the
go live activities, co-ordinates ongoing projects and ensures
overall project success and the generation of new Reference
Customers.

Business ByDesign partner, and are the UK’s number 1 SAP B1 partner.
Sapphire have been invited by SAP to become one of their first wave
partners for Business ByDesign. We will sell the Business ByDesign
solutions and provide significant implementation, business analysis
and support added value services for our customers throughout their
usage of Business ByDesign. We see this as a continuous customer
focussed services business where strong relationships are built and
maintained for the medium to long term with our clients and the
Business ByDesign Services team.
Sapphire have been implementing mid tier systems since 1992 and are
90 employees with a profitable £12m turnover. We have a strong
reputation for high levels of customer services and are currently
supporting over 500 customers in the mid tier space across a number
of sectors.
New team members will be expected to maintain these high standards
and are expected to drive implementations with high motivation and
the willingness to actively shape the future success of Business
ByDesign in the UK.

Experience as Application Consultant for the implementation
of ERP Software |
|
|
Sound
understanding of end-to-end business processes and best
practises |
|
|
Experience in the segment of Small and Midsize Enterprises (SME) |
